This weeks Supporter Sunday Shout Out goes to Mitre 10 MEGA Napier & Hastings Graeme, Stephen and the Ricketts family for very generously donating $10,000.00 to our charity.
Today should have been the Mitre 10 MEGA Walk 2022 ~ people would have been arriving to participate, warming up, getting to their marshalling points and setting up the finish line fun. Unfortunately for the first year ever this event had to be cancelled due to the unpredictability of Covid 19 and the need to keep everyone safe.
Graeme, Stephen and the Ricketts family decided that they wanted to continue to help our charity financially during these hard times and made the very generous and heartfelt donation of $10,000.00 even though the event didn't take place. This family owned and operated business supports their local community in so many ways and we are so grateful to have their ongoing support. Without this support we could not support our young people and their family living with cancer in Hawke's Bay, the way that we do.
To Pip, the staff members in both stores, the sponsors and supporters thank you for all the hard work you have put in behind the scenes prior to today and we look forward to seeing everyone in 2022 when things have settled and we can all enjoy the event safely.
