The Acorn Project is not government funded; we rely solely on fundraising, our amazing sponsors and donations from people like you.

Payroll giving is an easy way to make regular contributions to a great cause like The Acorn Project
Just let your employer know the amount you wish to donate from your salary or wages each pay cycle, and they’ll take care of the rest
For every donation made through payroll giving, you’ll receive a tax credit of 33.33 percent – making your contribution go even further in helping families living with cancer in Hawke’s Bay
Volunteer
Whatever your skills and experience, there are many ways you can support The Acorn Project, for example by supporting our young people on activities, as an events volunteer, or as a Trustee.

Support The Acorn Project through your community volunteering initiatives. This is a great team-building exercise and can also enhance your reputation and build relationships in your local community.
There are many ways your business can help, including by providing marshals for our Mitre 10 MEGA Walk fundraiser, or raising money or awareness at work - for example through a bake sale or wacky clothes day.
